Denmark

Well, I thought I should be taking a little break from blogging every weekend, but now we're back and I've got so much cool stuff to share!

Let's start with Denmark, the country I visited with my parents this summer :) I totally loved the trip, because we did so many different things.

First off we visited Copenhagen for 7 days, which is a good time to see most of what the city has to offer. Disclaimer: Not all the pictures are taken by myself, some credit goes to my mum and my dad because they got themselves that new fancy Sonyα7!

And I also filmed a lot in Denmark but it takes so much time editing it and making the music for it that I didn't finish yet.

We discovered so many amazing places in the city, from the riverbank to the architectural museum. But here you don't just walk around, you take the bike!

A rare picture of le me filming ;)

Another beautiful thing is that the city is right by the seaside and there are plenty of easily accessible spots to go swimming in the sea! It's like a lake, but salty!

Another place one has got to visit in Copenhagen is the old botanical garden with the butterfly house! It's such a pretty place and will probably warm you up a lot in winter. In summer it's a bit too warm though...

After being in Copenhagen for a week, we travelled to the west coast of Denmark. There we spent much time chilling at the beach and exploring the dunes.

Another place we visited before heading back to Copenhagen was the Lego House in Billund (don't mix that up with the Legoland... the house is far cooler!) It has such a cool architecture and many really pretty designed lego things in it! Worth a visit? Definitely!

Before heading back home we went to Fyn, not only to chill at the beach but also to visit the Jazzfestival in Odense and to see Bokanté play there! If you haven't already you should definitely check out their music, it is brilliant ;)

Thanks for reading and see you next time!

The past weeks have been quite stressful because I had so much to do for school. At the moment I am finalising my final project, which takes up a lot of my free time. That's why I haven't posted anything for some time.

But now a lot has passed! First of all, I've spent a week in France near Dijon with some friends, which was lovely! We made a lot of jam from fresh figs which we've collected in their garden, visited a lovely town and had a great time!
I also spent some time travelling around Switzerland. I visited Basel, Bern and Zürich a couple times to get some stuff, or just for fun.
With our band, we opened a jam session, which was amazing and there were some cool concerts at our school too! Yesterday, for example, there was one called "Light and Passion", where the orchestra performed pieces from Mozart and Salieri. Since I am now responsible for the advertisement of their Facebook page, I took some pictures and even did a live stream which you can watch here.

Back home baking!

This week I was back home from England again. Me and my mum took a plane which was obviously delayed again and came home late on Monday.
During the week I did a lot of music again, mostly alone though because most of my friends were still on holidays. I also baked some lovely cakes, one of them a Sachertorte which took quite some time to make!

Yesterday evening I met with some friends to play some board games. It was so much fun and something I didn't do in a very long time!

Three countries in one day!

As I told you I went early this morning on the bus to Baden and then I took the train to Zürich. I checked in at the airport and after a very short time I was already sitting in the airplane to Amsterdam. But Amsterdam was (unfortunately) only a transfer stop. I'd love to visit Amsterdam too but my final destination was promising too because I would see all my friends again!
In Amsterdam I accidentally checked out because some stupid woman told me that transfer passengers should go through these one way doors but these doors where there for people to check out. Well great! Then I had to check in again which took some time but I was still in time. I met with Rose who is from Amsterdam at the gate since we were about to take the same flight :)
About half three we met our friends Lennart and Signe and drove to Signes house. It's a very pretty house! Lots of space and nice and cosy! The rest of the evening we just sat around, watched a movie and talked a lot :)

Anti-Icing spray they've put on the airplane wings

The mountain I just live behind! We flew straight past it!!
