The Sewers of Vienna

Yes, you've read the title correctly. I went to Vienna for three days and literally the first thing I've sight-seen was the sewers. Shit. It was actually quite cool! The tour was about a film, "The Third Man", which was partly shot down there. It didn't stink as bad as I expected, but still.. sewers.. Other than that, we've seen many cool sights, museums, funky shops and other nice cafés, restaurants and markets. Unfortunately, after three nights we already went on the train back home.

Miss Gerolds Garden

Just a couple days ago I found this event on Facebook: a Design Market at "Frau Gerolds Garten" in Zürich! Of course I would go there :D
And that's what a friend and I did today and it was totally worth it! So much crazy cool things to look at and maybe not to buy because they were all way too expensive ^^
We also went atop the Freitag Tower to check out the cool view over the city, then continued our trip to the Hiltl to get some lovely cake :)

In the late afternoon I had this urge to produce some music again, and that's literally all I did until eleven thirty in the night.. I'm sure it's another song for our upcoming album (which still needs a lot of work and time).

Today we also had a dance-performance in Baden, as advertisement for the dancefestival which is going to take place the next weekend :)

Today me and my family, we went Zürich to see a Christmas market called "Heiliger BimBam". It's a very unusual market, not with normal christmas trees and stands but some rather odd stands with things that people crafted themselves, organic chocolate from Zürich or organic bed covers and shirts. Personally I prefer these markets over the casual ones where people just go to take pictures. But at this market you could actually buy stuff that you can use in your everyday life. I bought for example a cool belt, a winter-flavoured organic drinking chocolate and some nice ginger tea :)

After going to the market we also visited another market that was more casual and traditional. But we all were not extremely impressed since we've just been at a great market beforehands. But we ate some nice food! We then went to the pretty cafe Schober which was lovely decorated and where we got nice tea and a Spanish guy played very melancholic melodies on his guitar (with the exception of our with for One Note Samba :)

See you next Saturday!
Marin :)

A little autumn trip to Italy

On the special occasion of my autumn holidays ending we went with some friends to Bassano del Grappa for the past three days. There we met with the grandparents of our friends and of course ate way too much for what we are used to (what do you expect: Italy) but the food was lovely too! And of course we brought the brilliant weather from Switzerland with us down there :P
We visited the castle where they've married, the old town with the grappa-destilleries as well as a beautiful villa a few kilometres away (where we weren't allowed to take pictures but I took some for you anyways ;)
