Kurze Stille in der Halle

"Short Silence in the Hall" was the name of the piece which our school theatre performed last week. I even went twice to watch it because it was that good! The second time I also took lots of pictures ;)

The whole piece was about rituals all around the world. The ones of our everyday lives compared to those in other cultures, countries and religions. We've learned a lot of facts that evening from marriages until deaths, but they also told and played many real short stories about everyday situations. Sometimes funny and sometimes really tragic!
But altogether it was an awesome performance with a lot of laughter and brilliant acting!

After the event, there was a party all night, because it was the last performance. And it was so much fun!

Monteverdi Concerts

The last week was so strenuous! Nearly every day we had many rehearsals, even until late at night. But it was totally worth the effort, because the concerts we had yesterday and the day before yesterday were amazing!
It was such a pleasure to finally perform the whole piece and to see the reactions of the listeners. One of my favourite moments was when one soloist went to the back of the hall and began singing there, every single head in the audience turned around trying to figure out where the sound was coming from.

It was a pleasure to sing Monteverdi, but now, after the many times we sung it, I am glad that we can move on to something else :)

Summernight-Party

I talk a lot about the good things at my school, and I think I'll never stop, because last Friday we had the annual huge summernight party in the park. It's a huge event with over 4500 tickets sold! The 2-4 grades need to do either a food-booth, one for drinks which the 4th years usually make, or a cultural booth.
Since the topic was "Swiss made" this year we decided to do a shooting range kind of like Wilhelm Tell where you had to shoot apples down from politician's heads.. It was a lot of fun!

I also played a concert with my friends from the music workshop and it was amazing! So many people came to listen and danced all the time, clapped their hands and had a lot of fun!
