Schönenwerd

Yesterday, my mum and I decided to go on a spontaneous trip to Schönenwerd in Solothurn Switzerland. First of all, we wanted to get out and enjoy the first warm and beautiful spring day this year, secondly, I wanted to look at a furniture store there and last but not least, we heard that there was a beautiful park there. And we were not wrong! It is a lovely place, but there is not that much to see except that park, the river Aare and the old factory buildings. Oh and don't forget that nuclear power plant in the background xD

Zermatt and the Fireworks of Zürich

Just after celebrating with my entire family last weekend, my parents and I left with friends to go to Zermatt for a week. You've probably heard of the Matterhorn, one of the most famous mountains in Switzerland which is in Zermatt. But there are not only many tourists taking pictures of that mountain peak; there are also many cool activities you can do like snowboarding and skiing, sleighing, hiking and partying in the evenings!
I snowboarded for two days, one day the weather was not that lovely and then a friend of mine came over who could neither ski or snowboard, so we went sleighing and hiking which was lots of fun too!

On New Year's Eve, Johanna and I then went to Zürich to watch the firework and go to a nice reggae bar. It was really nice and the fireworks amazing!

Fireworks, lots of fireworks!

On August 1st, the Swiss National Day, there are so many fireworks in every city, and, in my opinion, the one in Baden is one of the prettiest!
My friend and I have the perfect spot to watch it. You just lay on your back and look straight up in the sky.

This time I took my camera with me and the results were stunning!

Creux du Van

A long weekend with a lot of stuff to do! Besides loads of schoolwork, my parents, a good friend and I went hiking to Creux du Van. We took an early train on Friday, first to Zürich to pick my friend up and then via Neuchâtel to Noiraigue. It's a really tiny but pretty village in the Jura, the mountains in the north of Switzerland.

There we started our hike, and we were not alone! Many others also walked up that mountain to see the spectacular view! It's a natural wonder, The Creux du Van is a natural rocky cirque. Many years ago it was created by natural water erosion from a local glacier and still looks magnificent!

I need to add that it was also the perfect place to take pictures with my drone! My friend also had a drone with him,  and we filmed a lot. I've still got some editing to do, but I'm sure that the video will be awesome :D
