Night Flight

Every two years there's this huge late night event at our school called musicnight. In many different spots outdoors on the school grounds are performances of all kinds. 

Yesterday, for example, the school orchestra was playing film music, I had two performances with the BigBand which were awesome, but there were also dance performances, singing and other musical acts.

The theme of yesterday's event was "Night Flight". It was all about flying and everyone was dressed up either as a captain or some other board crew. We also played a song called Night Flight. The food was lovely too, and there was even a bar inside a real old aeroplane part!

I was also flying with my drone at night because that just fit the topic perfectly. My friends Simon and David gave some RC-helicopter flying lessons next to me while I was live streaming to a huge tv screen with my drone.

Whilst flying around I took some more pictures of our school at day and night and I photographed the highway next to the school with long-time exposure so the cars would draw lines behind them.

Winter came this week!

It was an awesome week! First of all I got a drawing tablet really cheap and I was editing and painting a lot! You'll see one I've made below ;)

Then, on Monday, we went with our class to the theatre to see "the visit" by the swiss play writer Dürrenmatt. I've already seen it once but this production was a lot more interesting, modern and fun to watch!

Next week we are going to have two concerts with the BigBand of our school where we are about to "fight" the Jazz Orchestra of the Kanti in Aarau. I made some posters to hang up around the school :)

Yesterday evening I also met with some classmates of mine to cook something together and watch a movie. Later on in the evening I went with a friend who was there as well to take some pictures for an art project which they ought to do for school. They wanted to do some light painting with lcd light that they've put onto a bicycle wheel. The results look really cool and I will show you as soon as I have them too!

A ginormous party and a brilliant certificate!

I am so very exhausted! Yesterday was my school's summer night party which was soo cool! So many people were there and it was fun talking to old friends and seeing all the stands that were prepared by other classes!
But as I said it was really exhausting: I did not really sit down that much since four in the afternoon (when I helped building up the stage and lifting the piano with some others down to the main stage, up again to the small stage and so on) until one in the morning when we finally finished putting everything back.. The concerts were great too! So many people came to listen to us and I think it went quite well too :)

This week a letter arrived that I should pick up my Cambridge English Certificate! I am so happy that I have passed and I am sure that it will be a great addition to my CV for the future :D

Today we'll have a welcome-back party at a bowling alley in Zürich! I am looking forward to meeting some of my friends from Camp again :)
